Who We Are...

S.E. Freight Systems Inc. is a Dedicated Truckload and Expedite carrier. We service the province of Ontario, as well as the Northeastern and Central United States.

Established in 1993, S.E. Freight Systems Inc. located in London, Ontario. With continued growth SE Freight has extended our locations into Windsor Ontario and our newest location, Brownstown, Michigan.

SE Freight currently employees over 90 employees throughout all locations. Our command fleet is made up of leased and personally owned tractors, 53’ trailers and 26’ straight trucks. Our fleet is equipped with state of the art technology for fast satellite tracking and voice command communication.

Freight has been built on a tradition of continually challenging ourselves to achieve new standards of quality and performance in our industry. I'm proud to say that, throughout our 17 years of service, we have worked in partnership with our customers, suppliers and employees to set new standards of excellence for our industry. This commitment has put us at the forefront of important advancements in technology and safety, and S.E. Freight has been recognized on numerous occasions in recognition of our efforts in the areas of safety, efficiency and business excellence.

Since starting S.E. Freight Systems Inc. in 1993, I have seen significant changes in the transportation industry that have reshaped the parameters of our business. Technological advancements continue to take S.E. Freight in exciting new directions by allowing us to improve operating efficiencies and provide enhanced services to meet our customers increasingly diversified transportation needs and improved operating efficiencies. We pride ourselves in our security measures implemented for the continued safety of our community with our border crossing strategy. Security measures, and technological infrastructure continues to distinguish SE Freight Systems Inc. as your carrier of choice.

SE Freight Systems Inc. takes security seriously. Our locations are equipped with state of the art surveillance cameras which are monitored and recorded at all times ensuring security for our customers. Additional measures are practiced with our company's active participation in the security programs listed.

ACE-Automated Commercial Environment is an integrated electronic customs clearance process. US Customs and Border Patrol began making the filing of e-Manifest mandatory at selected ports with additional ports becoming mandatory in the near future.

CSA-Customs Self Assessment (CSA) program is a Canada Border Services Agency initiative that fundamentally re-engineers the customs commercial process by partnering the agency with pre-approved traders. CSA improves the agency's understanding of its commercial clients and it eliminates many of the traditional import impediments, which means processing low-risk shipments more quickly.

PIP-Partners in Protection is designed by Canada Customs and Revenue Agency to enlist the cooperation of private industry in efforts to enhance border security, combat organized crime and terrorism, increase awareness of customs compliance issues, and help detect and prevent contraband smuggling. This is accomplished through an agreement called a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU).

PAPS-Pre-arrival Processing System is a U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) system using barcode technology. It is designed to provide advance information on goods entering the U.S. It expedites clearances, and enables risk assessment and clearance in advance of goods arriving at the border.

FAST-Free and Secure Trade is a joint Canada-US initiative involving the Canada Customs and Revenue Agency, Citizenship and Immigration Canada, the United States Customs Service, and the United States Immigration and Naturalization Service. FAST supports moving pre-approved eligible goods across the border quickly and verifying trade compliance away from the border.

Customs Trade Partnership Against Terrorism

C-TPAT-Customs-Trade Partnership against Terrorism is a joint U.S. government-business initiative to build cooperative relationships that strengthen overall supply chain and border security. C-TPAT recognizes that Customs can provide the highest level of security only through close cooperation with the ultimate owners of the supply chain, importers, carriers, brokers, warehouse operators and manufacturers. Through this initiative, they ask businesses to ensure the integrity of their security practices and communicate their security guidelines to their business partners within the supply chain. This program is similar to the Partners in Protection program that Canada Customs and Revenue Agency has implemented.

PARS-Pre-arrival Review System is a system developed by Canada Customs that allows for release information to be processed before goods arrive at the border.

Our main goal is to utilize our fleet’s capacity 100%, to guarantee on time service to our customers and to reduce drivers’ down time.

In conjunction with our “SOS” roadside assistance, available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week our Fleet Management team has implemented a strict preventative maintenance program which includes full maintenance leasing. This program allows our equipment to be serviced or replaced in the event major problems were to arise anywhere in North America. For further reassurance we have full repair and maintenance facilities at our London and Windsor terminals.

S. E. Freight Systems Inc. is committed to your quality of life. We strive to ensure all employees work in a safe environment and treat all employees with respect and fairness.

Our Company policies and procedures are designed for the overall safety and well being of all employees which are reviewed, updated and monitored continuously ensuring driver’s compliance. We offer a unique training program to each and every new driver and monitor your progress to ensure your success.

To join our team of professional drivers we require a minimum of three years ‘OTR” (over the road) experience, clean criminal reference check, current CVOR and Driver’s Abstract. Having a FAST card is an asset as we are an active participant of the FAST Program however; we do offer some local routes.

Qualifying individuals will be contacted by our recruiting department who will arrange a personal interview, at which time you will be presented with a ‘hiring package’ containing information about our company, routes and brief overview of company policies and procedures. Arrangements will be made to schedule you for a road-test, pre-employment drug screen and orientation.

We believe in the need to ensure new drivers are fully trained and confident prior to route assignment. The new driver will attend an in-house orientation to go over completion of paperwork, POP Procedures and our Company guidelines. A training manual will be presented to every qualified driver. We then schedule you with one of our professional, experienced drivers to ensure your understanding of our procedures as well the procedures of our valued customers.

Drivers’ logs are monitored monthly to ensure all drivers are in compliance with DOT regulations and are rewarded and encourage to strive towards perfect logs, at all times.

We are proud of our drivers and appreciate the commitment that they demonstrate by offering recognition monthly and yearly to those qualified. Drivers have the ability to earn points which are recorded and tallied monthly; the individual who accumulates the most points each month is rewarded. Drivers have the ability to gain points by submission of perfect logs, above & beyond duties, perfect attendance, remaining incident free, clean trucks and compliance & accurate paperwork submissions.
